If you don’t know this by now, I am totally bonkers for Instagram.

But more importantly, I am totally bonkers about using Instagram to grow businesses and authentic communities around brands.

It’s been about a year since I started my own online business, getting paid to do what I love, working with women who I admire on projects I used to dream about being a part of. And all this was made possible by using Instagram!

You see, at the time, I didn’t have a website. I made use of the tools at my disposal, and took advantage of Instagram to get my business off the ground. Obviously, since I’m able to post this blog, I managed to do something right because business is pretty good!

In this short space of time, I’ve worked with a number of clients, each of whom were struggling with their Instagram strategies. In some cases, an Instagram strategy was non existent.

There is a very good reason for the neglect, and I completely understand how easily it can be to let things slide. It’s overwhelming! Especially if you have no idea where to start!

Not to mention the one hundred and ten tasks on your to do list that you never seem to have time for.

A very simple way to get your business profile organized is through Instagram templates. Using templates will help you save so much time, energy, and effort; while maintaining a polished, professional look for your brand online.

Today I’m going to be sharing three reasons you should include templates in your Instagram business strategy.

1. they’ll save you loads of time

A big pain point for most of my clients is that they don’t have the time to create content for their profiles because they’re so busy with all the other aspects of running a business. This is where templates come into play!

Using a set of templates that’s already styled with your branding, can save you so much time. All you need to do is plug in your content, add an enticing title, and you’re set!

Templates are also very handy for when you need to batch your posts while planning out content over a length of time.

2. they draw people to your content

The thing about Instagram, is that it can be difficult to get people to actually read your content since it’s more focused on aesthetics.

A great way to entice scrollers and double-tappers to read your captions, is by using templates.

While graphics fall under imagery, they also share key points about your content, which increases the chances of someone clicking on your post to engage with you.

In a sea of beautiful pictures, a graphic with an interesting, relatable title, is more likely to pull in readers compared to a picture that says absolutely nothing about what your content is all about.

3. they solidify your brand

Another key reason I love templates for Instagram, is that it’s a chance for you to create a cohesive look online. By using a branded graphics set, you are building your business through establishing your brand, allowing your following to become more familiar with you.

It is so important to have your business stand out online. You want to form meaningful connections with your audience and build trust within your community so that people can envision working with you. Your Instagram page is a fantastic way to do this, and branded templates will help you achieve it!

Of course, there are many more reasons why you should be using templates for your Instagram business page.

But right now, with all the stress people are facing when it comes to this platform, I think the only reason you should be interested in, is that it’s so much fun to use!

Play around with colour, imagery, and font styling - get creative! The possibilities are endless!
